Midwest's Select Bulk Casing Mix - 5 pounds

Mushroom Casing (substrate) is a non-nutritious moisture retaining layer to spread on the top and bottom of your mushroom substrate. This method is generally referred to as the "Bulk" method, Monotub, or Bulk Substrate. this is the popular alternative way to fruit your spawn bags or jars. We provide easy to follow instructions on how to use and create your bulk grow. The hardest part of this process is achieving the perfect ratios of substrate, casing and water. We've made it easy!

Use the following amounts:

• 1 Spawn bag per 5 pound bag of casing mix (using our 5grain or Rye spawn bag)
• 6 Jars per 5 pound bag of casing mix (using our 1/2 pint substrate jars)
• Shelf life of up to 6 months!
