The Philodendron Pink Princess, scientifically known as Philodendron erubescens ‘Pink Princess,’ is a rare and highly sought-after plant. This is because when planters grow a batch of the hybrid in a lab, the signature bubblegum-pink shade does not always end up appearing, even when a special culturing process is used. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one of the pink-tinged varieties, you can help it maintain its vibrant hues by optimizing light and watering conditions. Water your Princess once weekly, or when the top half of soil has dried out; treat it to several daily hours of bright indirect light; and increase your home’s humidity by misting the plant or using a pebble tray.
