Return Policy

Our policy allows for returns on eligible items (see details below) for exchange, store credit or a full refund for up to 30 days after your purchase, after which time returns on said items will only be allowed for exchange or store credit for up to 60 days post purchase. No exchanges, store credit or refunds will be offered after 60 days from the purchase date.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as nutrients, soils, husk and mulch mediums cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns for products that contain hazardous materials. Gift cards are also not returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Any transaction over $5,000 is considered a commercial sale and will warrant the same return policy as stated above, with the addition of an order cancelation fee of 7% of the total order value for any orders cancelled after being placed and paid for.

Manufacturer Defect (if applicable):

If a product has a manufacturer defect, you have two options for replacement:

  1. Follow the manufacturer’s warranty instructions on the packaging or their website and work directly with them to resolve any product defect issues.
  2. Return it to Moonlight Garden Supply where, upon verification of defect, one of the following will happen:
  • If the same item is in stock we will replace the faulty one with a new one immediately.
  • If the same item is not in stock we will take the faulty item and order a new one in from the manufacturer for you to come pick up upon arrival or we will arrange for it to be shipped to you.
  • If the faulty item is deemed repairable by the manufacturer, we will send it in to them for repairs and once we receive it back we will notify you so you can come pick it up upon arrival or we will arrange for it to be shipped to you.
  • If the item is not replaceable or repairable, a credit or refund will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

All Other Exchanges (if applicable):

If you have a product that is eligible to return based on the above criteria, you may return it to Moonlight Garden Supply for an exchange of lesser or equal value, for in store credit or a refund if the return meets the above criteria. If you need to exchange an item, send us an email explaining the situation at support@moonlightgardensupply.com and bring or send your item to: 1572 S State Street Salt Lake City Utah 84115.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable):

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted (3-7 business days). If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@moonlightgardensupply.com.

Shipping (if applicable):

Excepting the case of manufacturer defect or error on the part of Moonlight Garden Supply, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you must use a trackable shipping service and we recommend purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and if we do not and it is not tracked or insured, you will bear the cost and no exchange or refund will be issued.
