Big Foot Mycorrhizae Granular is a root inoculant designed to help plants establish strong root systems when planting or transplanting. It combines beneficial endomycorrhizal fungi with softwood biochar, worm castings, kelp, and humic acids to support root development and build a biologically active growing environment.
The mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiotic relationship with compatible plant roots, extending into the surrounding soil to help plants access water and nutrients. Biochar provides a habitat for beneficial microbes, while kelp and humic acids contribute additional compounds that support root zone activity. This combination makes Big Foot Granular a useful addition when transplanting seedlings, starting clones, planting garden vegetables, or establishing flowers and ornamentals.
Unlike water soluble mycorrhizal products, Big Foot Granular is designed for direct contact with plant roots. Apply it to the planting hole or root ball during transplanting, or mix it into soil and potting media before planting. It is suitable for container gardens, raised beds, garden beds, and larger planting projects.
