VidaWool Plugs

VidaWool Starter Plugs are stone wool growing plugs designed for starting seeds and rooting plant cuttings before transplanting into larger growing blocks or hydroponic systems. Their predrilled holes make it easy to position seeds and clones accurately, while the sturdy structure helps keep young plants stable during early root development.

Made with mineral wool and featuring Hydro-Xtend water dispersion technology, VidaWool plugs are designed to distribute moisture evenly throughout the growing medium. They offer 85% to 95% water holding capacity while maintaining a low electrical conductivity (EC) of less than 0.1 dS/m, giving growers control over the nutrient solution supplied to developing roots.

These plugs are ideal for hydroponic growers, indoor gardeners, and plant propagators starting vegetables, herbs, flowers, and other suitable crops. Once seedlings or cuttings have developed sufficiently, the plugs can be transplanted directly into compatible VidaWool growing blocks, minimizing root disturbance and simplifying the transition to the next growth stage.
